Some days you just want to wear a dress, am I right? Don’t get me wrong, more often than not I reach for a variation of trousers-and-a-blouse (especially when it comes to office outfits), but it feels nice to pop a dress on for work every now and again.
I love this shift dress from ASOS, with its slim cut shoulders and mod print. Very Twiggy, no? I slipped on a tuxedo blazer (something more cropped was required, as anything longer added bulk when matched with the a-line cut of the dress) and a great pair of flats. Classic color palette, throwback print, all business.
Hope everyone has a great weekend! I’m going to be giving a few new Thanksgiving recipes a pre-holiday test run. Yummy weekend or disaster in the kitchen? I guess we’ll find out. 😉

This is a great dress- you can wear it both to the office, like you’ve done here, or for a night out. That’s the best kind of dress! 🙂

I LOVE dresses and honestly, they’re so much easier than anything else – but the problem with them is that you can pair a pair of jeans with so many things but not as many can be paired with a dress!!
You look lovely!

Looking stunning! I love your hair. 🙂
That dress is incredible! It’s very 1960’s, but for some reason doesn’t look “dated” or anything at all- in fact, I love it!
Those flats are so cool! I love the cutouts on the sides. Are they comfy?
Hi Tegan! Yes, ma’am, they’re pretty comfy. Not much support though, so if you need arch support, you might not want to wear ’em all day long. 🙂
Great post! Congrats on the style job- you are so talented at this, I’m sure you’ll be a smash! 🙂
gorgeous dress, love this print and b&w!
