Madewell recently launched a new denim line, and I’m totally hooked. I popped into my local store to pick up a few pairs, and walked out with a whole outfit (and then some).

“A tank top and jeans” sounds casual and usually is– but you can take it to the next level with some simple upgrades: silk over cotton, dark denim over light, and fun accessories. A floaty silk tank in Santorini cobalt works well over dark skinnies. Striped wedges and a new chevron necklace to add a little punch; a boyfriend watch because that’s my jam. Off we go!

  35. I have been dying over finding dark denim! I have these BDG jeans from Urban that fit like a dream but they only have my size and ankle length in one wash (that I obviously already own). I absolutely loveee madewells clothes but I hate having to take all my pants to get tailored (I’m short, and lazy).

    Anyways, you look totally great as always!

  39. That’s such a gorgeous color! Oh my gosh, I was in NYC earlier this week, and when I got dressed on Monday, I had a pretty dress and straightened hair and a fun necklace, and the first thing I said to myself was “This must be what Ashley feels like everyday!” lol!

  41. I’ve never shopped at Madewell, but hear they have amazing jeans. Love the color of your tank and those wedges are so cute! I love the striped pattern and the leather strap in the back. : )
