A date night outfit perfect for cooler summer nights.

I never pack all my sweaters away post-winter; instead I save a few lightweight versions for spring and summer. This cropped sweater tank was a solid choice for a cooler summer evening, especially when paired with high-waisted black jeans (an H&M score; their denim is really killer + super affordable). I layered on a chunky clear quartz necklace and white marble-print sandals (Calvin Klein, you genius– and major score: these puppies are on sale) to weave in a summery boho feel, but this look will be kosher come fall with a leather jacket thrown over the top.

A cropped sweater tank is a great unexpected-yet-easy-to-wear piece; if you’re in the market, I adore this version from ASTR. I love it with high-waisted pieces, like these jeans (but also think shorts + skirts). Kinda vibing on the idea of layering a basic white crew neck tee underneath (think Cher’s gym outfit in Clueless); so 90s + so right now.

Totally loving these white Calvin Klein sandals. I spotted ’em on sale at Nordstrom and had to have the. Love the asymmetrical strap and the heel is super manageable at 3 and 1/2 inches, which is the perfect shoe to dress up denim or cap off summer dress.

  19. I’ve really been into sweater tanks this summer and I’m glad that I actually live in a place where the weather allows me to wear them. That cropped top looks so cute on you, especially with those jeans. Also, those sandals are super cute!

  36. Yes for all year sweaters! I’m rocking a fringe number today, with cropped sleeves over a v neck. The fringe makes a little work appropriate! (; But in reality, I’m wearing a tee and jeans and I’m ridiculously comfortable! (:
