Give me all the cable knit, cardigans, and cashmere in every pattern and print you can find, because I’m pretty much living the sweater life until mid-March here in Kansas City.
I was so pleased when the girls at The Mint Julep Boutique reached out with the opportunity to add to my cozy collection. I made a mad dash to the cardigan section, where I picked out this long + flowy number. Loved the different textures and quick shots of bright coral. I thought burgundy would be an interesting color to pair it with, so I grabbed a floaty burgundy tunic and a new pair of calf-hair sneaker booties (a necessity for a girl recovering from knee surgery, or so I tell myself). Leather-look scuba leggings cuffed at the ankle (because I have short legs, what of it?) and a berry lip complete this edgy weekend look.
This new sneaker obsession shows no signs of letting up. I’m more than a little obsessed with these berry-colored Zara booties, and if it means not having to sacrifice comfort for style? I’m so game.

Yes that is a great Cardi! And LOVE the sneakers, funny I saw a women today wearing a pair of high top Nike sneakers and they were in this exact color…which…drum roll please…is the Pantone color of the year “Marsala” I soooo want a pair of sneakers in this color!
