I went with a serious 70s vibe for my first Kansas City Fashion Week event: a floaty dark floral boho dress with major bell sleeves and a pair of Stuart Weitzman Highlands (aka, the birthday boots). The breezy look felt perfect for the Runway on the Rooftop event at One-Light Luxury Apartments downtown. A few rose gold touches (still loving this rose gold cuff from Nordie’s and this amazing double-finger Kendra Scott stunner), a side braid to keep the hair in check, and I was out the door for a fun night of fashion above the city.

KCFW Runway on the Rooftop

The kids at Kansas City Fashion Week outdid themselves this year by kicking off the runway shows at the rooftop pool of One-Light Luxury Apartments. Talk about a stunning venue! Pearl Vodka drink in hand (citrus vodka + soda, lime twist– so fresh!), I settled in for some poolside fashion, from lots of grunge + fringe via my faves at KC Garment District to super cute swimwear from Jenna Sea. Also really loved the offerings from Zafar; I need that floral maxi skirt + navy mesh combo in my life immediately.
