A Blue Striped Linen Suit for Spring and Summer.

A blue striped linen suit to punch up that warm weather closet.

I’m quite partial to a matching set; they’re an easy way to go bold with an all-over print because you know the pieces are made to go together. This blue striped linen suit from H&M is a clear example of this– the blazer and shorts are the perfect match. Lightweight linen means this suit will carry well into summer, but this particular linen is heavy enough that it doesn’t wrinkle too horribly the second you sit down. (My one complaint about linen– the wrinkle factor!) And how pretty + polished is this French blue stripe? Resort vibes and then some.

That sexy lace bralette from last week is back. It struck a nice balance paired with the suit, and the high-waisted short meant I wasn’t revealing too much. A classic (and so easy to wear!) nude sandal is a great shoe choice here, elongating the leg and letting that blue stripe shine.

I love the French Riveria factor here; this looks screams, “I’m on summer vacation, but still looking sharp!” This blue striped suit will break apart nicely– I’m thinking the blazer over a classic white tank and high-waisted skinny denim combo, and the shorts with a crop top and summer sandals or sneakers. These are breezy pieces that pack a chic punch, which is amazing when those temperatures start to rise.

    1. Linen can be tricky because it wrinkles so easy- but this stripe was too good to resist! And the linen is just a bit heavier, which helps it stay wrinkle-free longer! Thanks so much, babe!

  5. I love a two piece set, and this suit is such a cool way to do it. So modern with the shorts. I love how you styled it in the sexy way. I imagine it could be done so many ways too which is so nice. Have a great weekend!
