More neutral summer looks: a beige linen dress for the win.

As we head into July, my summer style themes are clear: it’s either neon or super neutral. Today is one of the latter. There was something really chic and charming about this beige linen dress. The cut was perfect: fitted through the chest, but then floats away from the body, making for breezy wearing in the summer heat. And peep those buttons! Cute feature.

A longer hemline means it goes to the office, brunch with the conservative in-laws (you know, if you have those), or anywhere you don’t want to full-stop leg. A beige linen dress of my dreams! This version is even roomier and sleeveless, and I love this romper version.

I stayed neutral with my shoe choice: a white studded mule. What goes better together than white and beige? That chunky initial necklace I’ve been wearing lately and trusty round Ray-Bans, and this outfit was done and dusted. So simple but heavy on the polish factor.

Can you believe we’re a week out from the 4th of July? As it usually seems to do, summer is flying by. We don’t have anything big planned this year (especially with the holiday falling in the middle of the week). Lots of sleeping in, relaxing, and tons of festive beverages in our future!
