A cute bodysuit from Kindred with cropped Levi’s.

Spring has sprung! I’m celebrating in a red striped bodysuit I snagged at local fave, Kindred Shops. Get those shoulders out, kids– it’s time to party. Red lip and all!

I really dig the play between this super flirty bodysuit (those ruffled Bardot shoulders!) and the rough cropped denim. A cool, interesting combo. It’s retro without feeling dated, glam without feeling too overdone. Cork sandals (yes, cork!) add another fun element; these sandals go with everything from jeans to dress and won’t break the bank. They’re one of my fave spring purchases to date.

I’ve also been into Levi’s lately– especially no-stretch + straight cuts with a higher waist. (Also known as 90s mom jeans, but whatever.) As much as I love my skinnies with a ton of stretch, there’s something very cool and nostalgic about classic denim.

Totally feeling the vibe this bold red lip gives this look; would be so good for a date night, yes? A red lip and a red striped bodysuit make for a killer combo. The Too Faced Melted formula is awesome– it’s long-wear without being too drying, and the color selection is awesome! I snag mine at Sephora.

And KC area friends, you have to get to Oak Park Mall and see the cute new spring + summer stuff Kindred has stocked! I’m talking racks and racks of all the best warm-weather pieces– I easily spent an hour just browsing, and another hour in the dressing rooms trying all the goodies on. Such a great spot to hit to refresh that wardrobe now that spring is (finally) here!
