Wide-leg striped pants are a fun alternative to spring dresses.
Wider cut trousers have been making a comeback recently, but it wasn’t until I saw this wide-leg striped pants at H&M that I caved and bought a pair. (You can get them right here; I also found these and these which are super similar.) I loved the cool minimalist stripe, the higher waist, and the floaty fabric. Because I’m on the short side, a wide leg can easily overwhelm my frame (although skinny vertical stripes like this definitely help). To keep things nice and long, I used a little mid-heel ankle boot to get some height. The black bodysuit + black trousers mean that eye line doesn’t break as harshly, so you get a little lengthening effect.
Shop the look:
These wide-leg striped pants are lightweight and have some great movement, which makes them super easy to wear. I’ve been wearing these guys to the office with blazers, and then out with friends with sneakers. There’s a definite New York vibe to ’em, for sure.

I am so on board with the wide-leg/culotte trend at the moment 🙂 Really like the stripes on yours and the simple yet effective styling. Happy Tuesday, Ashley!

Great pants!
Your body shape would fit ANYthing, but these pants rock. Honestly – that is the type of pants that when I see them in the store I would go: “blah, they are ugly”, but when they are placed on someone I now go: “Wow – that is great stuff” haha
