The holidays are officially overâ the tree is packed away, the champagne flutes are back on the shelf and the sugar plums have stopped dancing. A little depressing, yes? My living room is a little bare, and I miss how gorgeous the neighborhood looked all lit up with twinkling lights.
It’s time for an intervention. I need a little pick-me-up, don’t you?
Not sure about you, but my wardrobe post-holiday has been a little macabre. Mostly black and gray. Usually this is chic, but with the winter temperatures, limited sunshine, and eggnog-withdrawals, I’m in need of something punchy.
A bright accessory is the easiest way to inject some color into your wardrobe. A crimson stiletto, a peacock scarf, or an ocean-colored bagâ any of the above options will breathe some life into the endless supply of black turtlenecks and trousers I’ve been wearing lately.
Are you in the middle of the post-holiday outfit funk? How do you shake loose?
That bag is gorgeous! Balenciaga?
I’ve been doing the same- wearing mostly black and dark colors. I need to shake it up! Thanks for the tips!
Great post!
I have the winter blues, I’m afraid- and it’s only January!
That trench is gorgeous! I love the red- it’s so unexpected!
The Marc watch is so cute!
Great post!
Thanks for the feedback, dolls!
And yes, O- Balenciaga. A longtime love of mine. 🙂
