Welcome back from Labor Day weekend! The weather is KC was absolutely gorgeous. It was cool enough that black denim and mules felt totally appropriate, but still plenty warm to unofficially send off the summer.

I love these shredded black jeans from H&M because they’ve got plenty of stretch, a high waist, and hit on the raw hem trend. They are killer with a pair of black leather mules (my exact pair are sold out, but I have my eye on these bad boys) and an olive green tank. Finishing touches: more 90s with a long lariat necklace and an acrylic signature necklace from Bauble Bar.

I love the way a pair of mules add a 90s vibe to an outfit. More comfortable than a pump, with just as much sass. Mules are also a versatile shoe. They work with jeans, trousers (keep ’em ankle length), and dresses. I’m definitely reaching for ’em with everything this fall.
