Blending seasons with a fall-friendly wrap blouse and summer shorts.

So I might be warming up to the whole fall thing, if my recent purchases are any indication. Lots of sweaters, denim, and fall colors, like this striped wrap blouse. Mustard, navy, burgundy, and hunter green combine for a very fall-friendly feel. (Plus, doen’t itΒ look a little like a circus tent? Or is that just me? Either way, I’m game.) Despite being fall-hued, this striped wrap blouse is lightweight and quite cropped, which meant it paired easily with off-white cutoff shorts and leather sandals for an end-of-summer look. I love these H&M shorts

I have been wearing these sandals with everything as of late; you can shop ’em on sale here and here in a few different colors. They work now with floaty rainbow maxi dresses and will work through early fall with jeans.

I’m sort of reeling that it’s theΒ middle of September. I mentioned I was okay with transitioning to fall, but let’s slow this seasonal train down just a bit, yikes! This weekend we’re celebrating my dad’s 61st birthday (yes, folks, Russ White is 60+ and kickin’) with some barbeque. The weather should be lovely, so patio family time it is!   25. Such a cute top girl!!! I don’t mind the fall weather so much – but I always hate saying goodbye to summer (there is just nothing that can compare to summer). Hope your dad’s party was a blast!
