It’s hot, guys. And as much as a cute summer dress appeals to me, being comfortable and not sweating myself stupid appeals to me even more. I found the dress that walks both lines: this blue and white striped number is the best breezy summer dress according to me. I love the lightweight fabric and the stripes are right on trend. I slipped on a pair of flat white sandals to keep this look on the casual side but added some interest + polish with a statement earring. These stunners are from the Sugarfix by Bauble Bar collection– which you can score at Target– and really punch up a look. And you really can’t beat the price: $15? Yes, please.

This best in show dress can really be worn anywhere: casually for weekend activities as I wore it here, with heeled sandals or wedges for the office, with a heeled ankle boot for date night, or with sneakers for something super relaxed. See? It’s literally the best breezy summer dress!
I cannot believe we’re in the first week of August– where exactly did summer go? August is always super muggy + hot in KC, so I’ll be leaning heavily on lightweight pieces like this as we dip into those dog days. What pieces do you rely on to get you through the end of summer?
