Nothing like a cute new piece of workout gear to get me motivated to hit the gym– seriously. I wish I had that drive to just wake up + work out, but the reality is I need a little fashion push. The athleisure trend checks all the boxes: fun stuff to wear at the gym, great transitional pieces for non-gym environments, and it pushes brands to expand their offerings in terms of selection + quality. So I was more than game when the ALALA team offered me the opportunity to try their spring collection. The mesh cutouts on these leggings are very on trend, while the fabric is super soft and totally opaque. This palm print jacket is so lightweight + cool, with a high-low hem and mesh detail. All I needed was a white tank + Nike’s and I was kitted out for a solid run.

ALALA is on top of the game in terms of style + prints, and I love how their pieces translate so easily from gym to errands, or even broken apart with other outfits. This jacket, for example, would be too cool with a pair of simple skinny jeans (or shorts, come summer) and a t-shirt. Let the mix and matching begin!
