My little sister is getting married. This feels quite strange to say, mostly because it means we’re all grown up now. Her wedding is approaching fast (April!), so it was time to throw her a shower. Maid of honor duties, and all.
Despite the winter weather, I wanted to look like spring. When I think of bridal showers, I think pastel colors, lots of flowers, bare legs, and pink lips. Since it’s still winter, I compromised a bit by adding a basic black blazer over a spring-like silk print dress, although I stuck to my guns with bare legs and light pink lip gloss.
It was a great event; I particularly enjoyed the sangria. It was a party, after all.
You looked gorgeous and looks like you threw quite a beautiful shower! I’m sure your sister was very grateful!
