With its high heat and humidity, summer in Kansas City can feel like a test of endurance. It’s important to keep your cool (both literal and fashionable), and this cutout dress passes with flying colors. The tie-strap shoulders and subtle midriff cutouts keep things breezy, while the cobalt blue and black palm print grabs your attention. You know how I feel about a printed maxi– it does all the fashion heavy lifting for you!

Chic black thong sandals anchor the look (yes, flip-flop sandals are officially back on the style radar) and they give the outfit a grounded, contemporary edge.
