Tweedy.

Tweed is not just for the Golden Girls set, or die-hard Hepburn fans. Chanel has been spinning versions of the classic tweed jacket for ages, and now you can find less expensive and slightly edgier versions in your local department store.

I snatched up this beaded tweed jacket before Christmas (because as we’ve established, I selfishly also shop for myself during the holiday season), immediately falling in love with the burgundy color and beading detail. Feels right with a pair of super skinny black trousers, a black t-shirt, and burgundy booties.

Long week, no? Long month, even. Here’s to a relaxing weekend!

  1. I love tweed! I have been looking for a good jacket forever now! This is really cool- and not “Golden Girls” at all, lol.

    Great outfit post!

  2. I really love your booties! So cute!

Burgundy is one of my fav winter colors- I’m so glad it’s big this winter! 🙂

  3. Hey girl, you look great! Super slim, too- have you been hitting the gym lately? I’ve been trying (2013 New Year’s Resolution) but it’s so hard to get out there when it’s cold and crowded!

Hope you have a good weekend! Sleep in and relax!

  4. I’m loving the chaqueta. So cool. I am such a jacket whore. Ever since I went on a semester abroad trip to Spain, it’s all I can do but pair everything in my closet with a jacket. It makes me feel so put together. And tweed! So nice. . .I’ll have to find me one. . . .
