Rose Quartz Sneakers.

Admittedly I wasn’t initially a huge fan of the 2016 Pantone colors of the year: rose quartz and serenity. Baby pink and baby blue? Look, I love a good pale pink manicure and I do own a pair of sky blue shoes, but I’m also not your typical pastel-loving girl. Also, these colors kinda look a baby gender reveal party– I mean, right?

All that being said, I found these blush sneakers at H&M and ate all my words. One of the colors of year and on-trend with the sneaker resurgence? I’m game. (Athleisure is alive and well, guys.) Grabbed a slouchy neutral sweater and skinny jeans (winter uniform, Round 50) and tossed a fleece jacket over the top, as KC has decided to freeze over again. That groundhog didn’t see his shadow, right? Spring is on the way and cannot get here soon enough for my taste.

In general, pink isn’t usually my jam. But in cool sneaker form + a muted-almost-nude version, I am a convert.

  1. I’m not a big fan of pink either but these shoes look great! I also love that leather jacket, it looks so cosy with it’s fur lining 🙂 xx

  2. Ha – glad to know I’m not the only one not fawning over the new Pantone colors of the year. I do love how you were able to find something that was your style and made the color trend work for you! Thanks for linking up with Fabulous Friday! Hope to see you back this week.
