Gray Day.

Gray and brown may seem a bit drab on paper, but I happen to love this color combo– especially when it comes in the form of relaxed basics. I wore a version of this with a classic v-neck tee, a pair of light gray destroyed skinnies, and my new favorite ankle boots.

To keep it from being too boring, I belted the look and added a few interesting pieces of jewelry (check out that necklace; I was immediately obsessed).

This outfit is super easy to wear– who doesn’t own a few gray t-shirts? If gray jeans aren’t your thing, you can wear this with regular blue or black denim. Distressed or not distressed, the choice is yours. (I think my recent fascination with ripped jeans is pretty clear by now.) Almost any ankle bootie will do; I’m just really into the scuffed + faded ShoeMint versions I’ve been wearing lately.

Exciting week to come: Kansas City Fashion Week is here, and I’m going to Saturday night’s show– anyone else? Let me know in the comments if you are! 🙂

  1. You are rocking the head-to-toe edgy Gray look. Believe it or not I do not own a Gray V-neck Tee. Loving your necklace. That paired with the way you wore the belt, toughen it up and make it sexy-cool!
