Father's Day Gift Guide: East Dane.

My dad is a pretty cool dude. He taught me how to ride a bike, was fully supportive of my decision to dig up dinosaur bones in the backyard as a kid, and has since become one of my favorite people to make laugh. He gave me my tenacity, and even though I’ve been taller than him since the 6th grade (Big R is only 5’4), his larger-than-life personality makes him a blast (but don’t tell him, because he can get a little big for his britches).

When East Dane reached out and asked me curate a list of perfect-for-Dad gifts in preparation for Father’s Day, I had Big R in mind. East Dane is the male equivalent of ShopBop (obsessed!), and features all the products your father (and brother, boyfriend, and best dude friend) needs to stay both well-dressed and appropriately-accessorized.

The products below are perfect for Father’s Day (especially for dads with an on-the-go lifestyle; mine can navigate an airport like nobody’s business), with a few luxe pieces thrown in by yours truly to ramp up Big R’s style game.

East Dane Father's Day

1. Rag & Bone Hampshire Wallet ($125)
2. Tumi Alpha Slim Travel Kit ($95)
3. J.W. Hulme Co. Continental Duffel ($695)
4. Ray-Ban Original Wayfarer Sunglasses ($155)
5. Sperry Top-Sider Razorfish Boat Shoes ($95)
6. Taschen The Godfather Family Album ($40)
7. Form Function Form Button Stud Weekender Watch ($100)
8. Triple C Back Up Phone Charger ($35)
9. Flight 001 Man Things and Guy Stuff Pouches ($18 each)
10. Flight 001 F1 4-in-1 Adapter ($25)

Big R isn’t shy when asking for Father’s Day gifts. He straight up told me and my little sister he wants a new pair of Sperry’s. What Dad wants, Dad gets. These blue versions (5) are a bit hipper than the ol’ leather standard, but will look just as sharp with a pair of seersucker shorts. A leather wallet from Rag & Bone (1) is both functional and beyond cool, as is this watch with a raw leather strap (7) from Form Function Form.

For your tech-savvy dads, consider a super-slim phone charger (8). If Big R’s phone doesn’t have enough battery to snap a picture of that record-breaking bass, we won’t hear the end of it. Best to have a back-up.

If your dad travels as much as mine, a super handy set of outlet adapters (10) means he’s ready to roll in 150 countries. A leather travel bag with a slim profile means he can neatly pack away all essentials, from toothpaste to ibuprofen. A cheekier option: these aptly-named zipper pouches (9). Guy Stuff and Man Things pretty much sums it up, no? Toss everything in this gorgeous leather duffel (3) from J.W. Hulme. This bag is so gorgeous, I think I want one for myself.

Almost every guy I know quotes The Godfather on a regular basis, so this cool photo album (6) is a sure hit. It’s a collection of photos from photographer Steve Schapiro over the course of the making of all three films. Go to the mattresses, and all that.

And because I’ve got to keep Big R on top of the style game, I’m considering picking him up a set of classic Ray Ban Wayfarers (4). They’re from “his day” (or so he’s told me), but who doesn’t look good in this iconic frame?

Spot anything on this list your dad would love? You have plenty of time to get your shopping done before Father’s Day, especially with East Dane’s free 3-day shipping on all orders. Go, go, go!

Even better? We’re inviting you to join us. If you have a story you want to share, we want to hear it. Start writing now, and be ready to roll on June 16th.

Maya is hosting a link-up on her blog, Charmingly Styled, for you to link your #RealBloggerBeauty posts. Just swing by, drop in your post, and click around to see what other bloggers are sharing. You can also share the love using #RealBloggerBeauty on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.
