Wicked in Uniform.

“Pretty in pink, wicked in uniform.” I had a volleyball tee in high school with that across the back. A bit apt here, no?

I love mixing girly + tough. It keeps things interesting and is another way to make the pieces in your wardrobe stretch. (If you can wear a blouse five different ways as opposed to three, bonus!)

This blush pink blouse is quite spring and summer, being all pastel and halter-cut. But when layered under an olive green utility vest, it totally works for early October. I completed the look with ankle-length jeans in a classic wash with a pair of nude pumps. Boom! Perfect transitional outfit.

  1. Definitely a great transition look! I am all about making my wardrobe do double and triple duty. Have fun at Kansas City Fashion Week! I wish we had a local fashion week. That would be fun!
