This striped dress easily goes from the office to after-hours.
It’s mid-May, time to get those legs out! (My unofficial spring anthem.) Let’s start with this super versatile striped dress. I love the longer sleeve juxtaposed against the shorter shirttail hem, and the blue chalk line stripe against the white is perfect for this time of year. I layered in more blue with a pair of dark teal suede pumps, which was a slightly quirky choice that felt fresh.

This dress is so cute; I can’t wait to wear it a few bridal + baby showers I have coming up this summer, plus it makes for a killer summer’s eve date night dress. And while it definitely works dressed up with pumps, it would be equally cute with a pair of flat leather sandals or even a sneaker (especially topped with a denim jacket).

Why is it all the shirt dress that I tried on never look that good on me? I struggle with sizes a lot, the ones that fit me right are usually too short. π
This one is definitely on the shorter side- like if I try to wear it to the office, I’ll definitely need to wear it with flats! I think shirt dresses are tough because they are cut up on the sides, which can make ’em a little more difficult to style.
I love the fit of an oversized striped top! There are so many ways to wear it too, off shoulder or with a big corset belt are two of my favorite ways!
