Simple is Best.

Sometimes simple is best.

No crazy bells or whistles, just a few classic pieces you know work when worn together. And what’s more classic than a cable knit cardigan?

I took that cardigan and added classic medium-wash skinny denim + ankle booties with some gold hardware. I love the camel color of the cardigan; feels very fall, am I right? Works great with the booties, which update the look just a bit with their cut-out feature. (I seriously can’t get enough of the Jeffrey Campbell Everly bootie– I have it in black and brown, and am eying this pair with a bit of a heel next…)

So easy to pull together; I guarantee everyone has a variation of this outfit just waiting in her closet. Don’t own a pair of ankle booties? Ballet flats work, too. As do tall riding boots. Now go forth and outfit. 🙂

I have a few tricks up my sleeve for next week– exciting things to come. I’ve got you covered with a great wishlist for holiday shopping (either for yourself or for the girlfriends, moms, and sisters in your life) and a fun shoot for the POPSUGAR Select group.

Programming note: Thanksgiving is going to throw my normal Tuesday/Thursday posting sched off a bit, so look for new posts on Monday and Wednesday.

Linking up today with Vodka Infused LemonadeGlitz and GoldAll Things Pretty, Style Elixir, and Stylin in St. Louis.
