A blush pink floral dress that goes everywhere.
I’m not usually one to rock office style on here on LSR, but that doesn’t mean I don’t love it when I score pieces that translate to an office environment. This blush pink floral dress is a killer example. (Psst, it’s from Shabby2Chic Boutique and is a steal at $42!) The length + sleeve make it ideal for a more conservative office, but the print and ruffle detail keep it from being boring. I punched it up with a statement necklace (more like a chest plate, but it works) and a matching pair of blush pink mules.

Since we’re flirting with September, it’s appropriate to ask how to make this blush pink floral dress work through the fall. Idea: layer on black tights and pointed-toe pump and throw a leather jacket or a blazer over the top, and this dress carries you through the colder months. Blush pink (see also: tumblr pink, Millennial pink) is a trend that is quickly jumping seasons, so I wouldn’t worry about this being “too spring” for fall and winter if styled with warmer pieces.
I am seriously reeling that it’s the last week of August and Labor Day weekend is this weekend. Oy! Do you guys have any big Labor Day weekend plans?
