Neon Tips.

My neon obsession grows the deeper into summer we get. (It’s the perfect season for it, yes? I mean, wearing construction-worker-orange would seem a little out of place at Christmas dinner.)

I’ve taken to snapping up every bottle of neon polish I come across. My latest scores:

Neon Nails

China Glaze’s Japanese Koi (neon orange) and Polka Dot Bikini (yellow) are my new favorites. Don’t be fooled by the way Koi looks in the bottle; once you paint it on and hit the sunlight, it’s NEON. (Check the pic; courtesy of the web.) Next week I’m switching to Polka Dot Bikini, and will see if I can’t work air traffic control into the mix (it’s that bright, yes?).

  1. Neon is a really fun trend- I need to get more into it! This seems like an easy and inexpensive way to do it, too.

  2. That yellow looks crazy! Day-Glo nails? Sounds good for a beach/pool day, but what about at the office?

  3. Jaime- SO inexpensive; I love doing things on the cheap.

Heather- If you keep the nails short (no neon talons), I think it works for the office. Unless yours is super conservative, then you might want to implement a pedicure-online neon polish policy. 🙂
