Easy outfitting in a military jacket and jeans.
Jackets make my world go round, okay? Toss a cool jacket on over the most basic of outfits, and you’ve got yourself an effortless style statement. I took a basic black turtleneck and skinny jeans (last seen here with that baller button-up) and threw a cool cotton military jacket with gold buttons and gold piping on over the top. Those incredibly on-trend loafer mules finished the look; get them from Target while you can. No fuss, but super polished. Interesting, but without trying too hard.

We’re in that cold spring mode here in KC; some days will end up in the 60s or 70s, but most start near freezing and climb only to the low 50’s. While this isn’t parka weather, jackets are an absolute necessity. I love this military jacket as a topper for now, and will see about remixing it over crisp white summer dresses or even as a polished spin with leggings and sneakers.
