LSR Travels: Lace-up Chambray Dress in Mykonos.

Kicking off Mykonos in a chambray dress.

We started our 2-week stay in Greece on Mykonos– which was such a good call. It’s beautiful, has plenty of sightseeing opportunities and beautiful beaches, and the weather was perfect. Our hotel was about 10 minutes outside of Mykonos Town and was the perfect place to relax for a few days while getting accustomed to Greek life + the time difference.

This lace-up chambray dress proved to be a smart item to pack: while afternoons in Mykonos heated into the upper 70’s, evenings dipped into the 60’s and I needed I love the lace-up detail, the bell sleeves, and the pockets. The chambray had some heft to it, which kept the ocean breeze at bay. A pair of block heel Zara sandals (the only pair of heels I brought on the trip!) added a little height to the look.

This dress is so cute, right? I love the washed out chambray– and it’s so soft. I can’t wait to wear it more casually now that I’m home: with white sneakers or a pair of leather flip flops. I love how it works against the pretty white + blue background at our Mykonos hotel. The location was my boyfriend’s idea; this shoot was his first attempt at taking outfit photos– he totally smashed it!

I can’t wait to share more from my trip. On Thursday, we’ll get into what I wore while in Crete. A longer + more comprehensive travel post is on the horizon; I plan on gathering all the pretty seascape shots and recounting the trip details in a sort of Greece round-up.

  1. That washed out denim laceup dress is a gorgeous chambray piece. Chambray dresses are the best for Summer and Summer vacations, as I shared on my post yesterday, too. Love the location of these pics in beautiful Mykonos and you picked the perfect one pair of heels for your trip since these go with everything!

  2. From far away, I thought this was a simple baby blue dress but something about the details and how this was dyed makes it look so beautiful. 🙂 Such a lovely dress for the summer time.

  3. Mykonos is one place that I have always wanted to visit 🙂 I love this look and even though you only took the one pair of heels, they look like they would go with almost anything! x
