Labor Day White.

Labor Day– aka the last hoorah of white.

Not exactly true; I usually continue to wear my summer-weight whites until fall really breaks (ie, linens, eyelet, white minis).

But it does feel appropriate to give the white Zara skort a summer send-off during Labor Day weekend, so I wore it with a chambray shirt and mirrored flats for a shopping session with my mother. (We did some serious damage at JCrew… As usual.) A mixed metal statement necklace encouraged me to mix it up with silver and gold bracelets, plus those mirrored flats I’ve been wearing non-stop.
