The holiday season is upon us. We’re past Thanksgiving and it’s full speed ahead to cranberry cocktails, Christmas parties, and tree trimming. I teamed up with Piperlime as part of their Moments of Chic campaign, styling this fun Lanston dress and gorgeous metallic Clare V. clutch. The perfect pieces to create a classic holiday look, don’t you think?
Because it’s not so balmy here in Kansas City, a burgundy blazer over the top and tights under the dress kept me warm. Some sparkle on the wrist to compliment the flash in the clutch, a favorite necklace (I wear it constantly, no joke), and a pair of patent heels complete the look. This outfit is perfect for the holiday season– it’s currently the front-runner as my Christmas dinner outfit.

What I love is this dress will work in the spring, too, with a pair of neutral sandals and a light leather jacket. Pieces that work season-to-season are great additions to your closet.
Are you a Piperlime fan? I picked up some amazing stuff– tweed skirts + floral blouses!– as part of the Black Friday/Cyber Monday sale, and am beyond excited to start working those fun pieces into outfits. You can get in on the #momentsofchic action by tagging your Instagram shots with the hashtag, and selected posts will get published to the Piperlime Style Feed.
How was everyone’s Thanksgiving? I spent the weekend stuffing my face, checking off Christmas gifts for family and friends, and working on some last-minute tweaks for The Blogger Collective. Which is live as of this week! Eeek! Check out our first post, and definitely drop in your application if you haven’t already! (US and Canadian bloggers at this point… World domination comes later.)
