Green Leather Jacket Layering + Garmin vivomove.

Staying stylish and informed with the Garmin vivomove.

I’m slowly breaking out pieces I’ve had stored away since before spring– or since the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale from a few months ago, as is the case with this jacket. It comes in several colors (including this gorgeous green) and is the best faux leather jacket I’ve ever bought. Bonus: it’s under $100. I layered it on top of a breezy + sheer Express Portofino shirt and ripped-up Zara jeans. Because 90’s style is pretty much my standard outfitting procedure these days, a pair of crushed velvet gray booties cap off the look. I know. These boots are ridiculous; we’ll get to those later.

What I’m really loving about this outfit? My new vivomove activity tracker from my friends at Garmin. I love Garmin’s products, so they had me at, “It comes in a white and rose gold option.” The vivomove counts steps, monitors sleep, and reminds me to get out of that office chair with a move bar on the watch face. The vivosmart HR has been my jam for a year or so, but the vivomove takes it to the next level with a classic watch look + feel. You have six options (from matte black to all white), and none of them sacrifice style for all-day activity tracking.

I use the Garmin Connect app to get expanded info on how well I’m sleeping (deep vs. light sleep), my exact step count, and calorie intake (the app links with My Fitness Pal). Oh, hello, tons of data and a killer aesthetic? I’m game. The vivomove goes with everything in my closet, not just the sportier athleisure looks. I love it for weekdays at the office or for dressed-up weekend looks.

Plan on seeing this faux leather jacket more often, especially when it gets legitimately cool outside. It’s fully lined + has a little heft to it, which will make it perfect to bundle up in come October and November. And these boots– these boots. These boots are something else, right? You guys know I love pieces with some quirk, so I’m giving these boots a test drive. Velvet has been on my radar for a few months and it’s going to be huge come fall and winter. By Christmas, I’ll likely be in head-to-toe velvet in some way, shape, or form. I’m obsessed!

    1. That’s one of the reasons I love it- it looks amazing outside the gym and still gives me all the info I need for daily tracking. 🙂

    1. This jacket is SUCH a steal, lady! You’d love it. And I’m totally digging this Garmin- I get so many compliments on it!

  1. I saw that green jacket in the sale and came so close to getting it. Seeing it on you is seriously making me regret that I didn’t! Also, how pretty (and super cool & functional) is that watch??! Love it!

    1. I am in love with this jacket- seriously. Amazing. And the watch is so chic- looks killer, but doesn’t sacrifice all the data you get from an activity tracker. 🙂

    1. I didn’t have anything like this color in my jacket collection- so it was kinda a no-brainer, ha. I LOVE it- going to get so much use out of this!

  2. That Garmin is SO pretty! I have a Garmin I use for running and it gets beat up a lot 🙂 Lots of sweat and I wear it at least 4 times a week for some pretty long runs! I like that yours is more dressy and love the rose gold on it. That jacket is also pretty nice. 🙂

    1. I have the vivoactive for workouts (loooove it for cycling), but it’s too big + sporty to day to day wear. The vivomove is perfect- I still get my steps, but I also get the classic look of a super chic watch. Love it! 🙂

  3. Three things. 1. This is one of my favorite outfits of yours yet. 2. Your hair looks so gorgeous in these photos. 3. My FitBit just died, so I need to check out this Garmin watch!

  4. Firstly, I love the shade of green, but it also looks like a really good quality leather too! Nice pick, Ashley!
