Lee Denim Styling Session.

I’m a bit of a denim hound– no matter how many pairs of jeans I own, I never seem to have enough and I’m always on the hunt for a new pair. It’s a sickness. (There are worse things to be afflicted by, I’m sure.) So you can imagine my excitement when Lee Jeans contacted me to review a few pairs of their newer fits + washes. Check out how I styled each below.

Black denim is a standard in my denim wardrobe. I loved how dark and saturated the wash was on this pair of Emerson denim leggings, and matched them up with the infamous Phillip Lim for Target Boom sweatshirt and a pair of cap toe pumps. A bit casual, a bit fancy– but perfect for dinner and drinks with the girls.

Who doesn’t love a classic pair of dark skinnies? These Perfect Fit Greer’s fit nicely, but didn’t pinch or run too snug. A slim cut, but cozy enough to wear all day. A classic neutral color palette for this outfit: gray tank, tan scarf, and a black blazer. This outfit has Casual Friday written all over it.

Faux fur is still happening, and I’m pumped about it. It just feels decadent to snuggle up in something soft like this over-sized faux fur vest. I wore it over a navy boatneck tee and with the Perfect Fit Stella skinnies in one of the colors of the season: burgundy. I rough-cuffed the hem and slipped on my trusty cut-out booties to give the look just a little edge (which helps balance out the “Dahhhhhling!” of the fur).

I loved all three pairs of Lee jeans I tried on: the fit was quite good, the jeans were comfortable, and I loved the colors + rinses. Will definitely be working these babies into future outfits. Bring on the Season of Denim.

  1. Lee jeans are awesome, I own a pair myself, and they really adapt to most body types and are overall ridiculously comfy!!
I liked all the pairs that you showed us, but I couldn’t help but gape at your Phillip Lim for Target sweater… so jealous! that was a really good colab, so sad not to be living in the US anymore.

Take care, kisses from Spain xxx

  2. You did a fabulous job of styling these different denim styles, Ashley! Such an eye for classic looks and also for mixing things up with some fun pieces. 🙂

Hope you’re having a great week! I saw it was raining in KC this morning on the news- fun fall weather, lol. 😉

  3. Ashley, you are so lovely!
Where can you get the denim you’re wearing above? How would you describe the fit?

    Thanks so much!

  4. So cool, I love Lee-jeans! Used to work in a Denim-store and Lee’s were always my fave! Fit so many types and so many ages..
I do understand the “sickness” too.. I have so many pairs, but you can never have too many I guess. They work in every occasion.
    Have a lovely Tuesday 🙂

  5. I love how you have three very different looks here, but all based around denim. Very accessible, but forces your readers to think outside the box! 🙂

  6. I just love how you can making ANYTHING work. Those jeans are easy- and great, I love Lee’s new styles. Who knew?! But that sweatshirt? And that vest? Those are tough. And you make it look EASY! 🙂
