Bright Breezy Silk.

Lucky Magazine and Dasani  have partnered up, encouraging bloggers across the interwebs to dig deep into their closets and pull out the brightest outfits they can find.

Challenge accepted: the Lucky + Dasani Drops #Flavorfly Challenge is on. Vote for me here.

Is it really fair then, when this Madison Marcus dress does all the heavy-lifting for me? Sort of an unfair advantage in color blocked silk?

Maybe so, but it’s gorgeous, right? Perfect for a weekend wedding in the July sunshine. I wanted something light (let’s at least attempt to keep the sweating to a minimum) and bright (orange, pink, and steel do the trick). My fav chevron necklace for a cool girl edge, plus a pair of Michael Kors wedges you should write home to mother about (read: comfy, cute, metallic, perfect).

  1. that is SUCH a great entry- i love the bright color blocking. and i love it even more that you wore to a wedding- i love seeing non-formal wear dresses at those. it makes it much more interesting 🙂
