I snapped up quite a few summery statement necklaces while Christmas shopping, but I’m certainly not waiting until June to wear them.
Side note: Does anyone else do this– shop for yourself at Christmas while you’re grabbing up gifts for the friends and family? Or am I the alone in this?
Layered the statement necklace over a basic gray tee with the perfect amount of slouch, and then added touches of brown with the belt, cuff, and flats. Fairly simple work outfit when you break it down (t-shirt and trousers), but made more interesting by accessories. That trick will never get old.

But how perfect with this be with a white sundress come July?
Hope everyone had a brilliant weekend; I was trapped inside working (the woes of content migration), but managed to get out for a bit to refresh the dip-dye at the salon. Because fresh tresses > everything.
The XMas shopping for yourself is not just something you do- I’m guilty of it, too.
